I am a Cambridge-based photographer helping businesses, colleges, universities and public sector organisations tell their stories through authentic, engaging imagery.
With more than 32 years of professional experience - including 23 years in the fast-paced press industry and a further nine years as a freelance photographer - I’ve covered more than 25,000 assignments across Cambridgeshire and beyond. That experience means I know how to work under pressure, anticipate moments as they happen and deliver the images that matter, whatever the situation.
From major events and corporate portraits to campaigns, communications and milestones, the focus is always on creating natural photography that reflects your organisation, connects with your audience and provides images you can use with confidence.
A background in press photography brings the ability to adapt quickly, work efficiently and deliver to tight deadlines. Whether it’s managing unpredictable events, helping people feel relaxed in front of the camera or finding the right moment in a busy environment, the aim is to make the process simple and give clients confidence that the job is in safe hands.
Examples of my work are available on request. Much of my photography is commissioned by clients who expect their images to remain private, so I don’t routinely publish or share commissioned work. I believe the photographs I create belong to my clients’ stories, not my portfolio or social media.
